Greenup Meeting Place is a picturesque 10 acre property, with frontage on Bracker Creek and Coolmunda Dam . Our property is located near Inglewood, close to the Queensland border. Once home to Greenup School, the land is rich in history – the perfect place to put your feet up and unwind.
Our peaceful, non-powered campsites have plenty of room for singles, families and groups. We cater for tents, caravans and camper trailers. Our sites have access to toilet and shower facilities and non-drinking water.
We have three family rooms, our dormitory style accommodation is ideal for small and large groups of up to 50 people with shared toilet and shower facilities and a dedicated playroom available.
Fish the creek for Yellowbelly, Cod or just sit back, relax and enjoy the abundant bird and wildlife. Have a swim, go kayaking or take a walk to explore. Or why not join us for a coffee and meal at CC Cafe Thursday-Monday 7am-4pm. Winter 8am start [plus we offer extended hours on school holidays and public holidays]!

“A hidden gem. Everything you need including access to Bracker Creek. We absolutely loved our stay.”
The History
Our property is rich with history. Our property was the location for the Greenup School which was opened in March 1918 with 21 students enrolled.
The school built at Greenup was 21’10” x 14’ and of open air type with roller canvas blinds in place of windows and sections of the walls. These were designed for the Queensland climate, but proved unsuccessful and were consequently replaced with timber walls and sliding sash windows in 1923
The local community was generous in donating equipment for the school. Nature study formed a core component of the school repertoire along with English, Arithmetic, History and Geography.
We’re really proud of the history of our land – and you can see more of the history on display at our CC Cafe.
